I’m Haley, a self-taught web designer with over a decade of experience in the industry. My journey began with a partially completed graphic design degree, but I quickly realised that traditional design courses were falling short of what I needed. The theory-heavy approach didn’t match the practical, real-world challenges I was facing, so I left the classroom to dive headfirst into web design.
Since then, I’ve built a career helping course creators and membership site owners streamline their businesses, build recurring revenue streams, and automate their processes. I’m passionate about creating websites that not only look beautiful but also perform beautifully.
In addition to my work with clients, I teach web designers how to leverage WooCommerce to boost their income through my course, Woo Wizardry, and mentor designers through the WP Mavens community. It was while working with Mavens members that I noticed a gap in the skills of many self-taught designers—some with even 15+ years of experience. Whilst I have a preference and will refer to WordPress and related plugins throughout the course, the design principles shared are applicable across all platforms. You can use these techniques no matter what website builder or CMS you prefer.
Will I learn how to build a website?
